The Coastal Cup has determined the youth soccer cup champion for the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island since 1953. Qualifying for and winning this cup championship is a significant achievement and is the goal of more than 1500 youth soccer teams. Teams reaching the finals of the BC Coastal Cup win berths in the Provincials
The Coastal Cup covers all ages and levels of competitive youth soccer. In addition to being one of BC's largest sports events, the Coastal Cup Finals is one of very few to embrace male and female team divisions in the same championships. There are six age groups from under 13 years to under 18 years. Each age group has boys and girls divisions – Cups for Metro Select teams and Cups for the best club based teams are awarded in a grand finals ceremony in the host city Richmond BC. See schedules.
The competition for the 59th BC Coastal Cup ends on May 5th and 6th 2012 when we crown the 22 Coastal Cup champions for 2012.
